The Tribute Artist
Bette Davis' advice to young actors: "Take Fountain".
No one could command a set like Ms. Davis, whose reputation stemmed from a work ethic that demanded professionalism from all. She worked the hardest, and when she criticized, she was usually right. "In my business if you're not known as a monster, you're not a star!"
Holly's grandmother used to sing at the Roosevelt Hotel herselfand was frequently mistaken for Ms. Davis. It wasn't too surprising when Holly received a call to portray young Bette in a BBC biopic. The film was cancelled, but occasionally Holly gets a call to portray this film diva at special events and Hollywood Canteen themed evenings.
